Free Valentine's Day Printables: Free Coloring Pages

Free Coloring Pages is a website that is dedicated to providing simple and fun coloring activities for young children. In their Valentine's Day section, they have 34 coloring pages based on love and hearts. One coloring page idea that I liked and seemed unique is the apple heart coloring page. I guess I never really thought about how an apple can resemble a heart shape.

Another option, should you want to save paper, is their online coloring book. While I am a fan of saving paper, I do think there is something to be said for actually coloring in a picture on paper. Kids improve upon those fine motor skills as they hold onto the markers or crayons and control their coloring. They also get to be more creative with their color choices and can make their own designs within the drawings.

So, break out that box of 64 crayons, fire up the printer, and get busy!
